As a mother, grandmother, and passionate community advocate, Katherine Buckley knows firsthand the challenges families face when involved with the child welfare system. After overcoming her own struggles and successfully reunifying with her children, Katherine dedicated her life to helping others do the same. With 22 years of sobriety and two decades of service to families in Los Angeles County, she has worked tirelessly to provide guidance, support, and hope.
Katherine’s experience as a Parent Partner, her work with Casey Family Programs, and her involvement with national organizations like the Birth Parent National Network have shaped her commitment to empowering parents. She believes that every family deserves a second chance and the tools to succeed. Through Forever Reuniting Families, Katherine continues her mission to walk alongside parents, advocate for lasting change, and help families heal, reunify, and thrive for generations to come.
